Cameroon has sun everywhere and power cuts almost as often, which is exactly why solar skills sell. The Solar Engineering program trains you hands-on in our dedicated workshops to design, install and maintain complete solar systems: panels, batteries, inverters, controllers and the safety practices that protect people and equipment.
You complete two internships during the year, one after each semester, and certify through the MINEFOP CQP route. Graduates install for companies, launch their own installation businesses, or both.
What you will be able to do
- Design solar systems sized to real needs
- Install panels, batteries, inverters and controllers
- Maintain and troubleshoot solar installations
- Work safely with electrical systems
- Quote, plan and deliver client projects
