Overview

Our Tailoring and Fashion Design program is tailored to prepare students for success in the fashion industry — whether working for a fashion brand, launching their own label, or offering custom tailoring services. The training combines traditional tailoring skills with modern design techniques and business knowledge. Students will learn garment construction, pattern drafting, fabric selection, and fashion illustration, while also developing entrepreneurial and customer service skills. A final internship provides valuable hands-on industry experience.

Do I need any previous experience to enroll?

No prior experience is required for most programs. Depending on the program, you should have passed at GCE OL or AL. More important than your education background is your willingness to learn and grow.

Do I need my own computer?

Yes. For tech-based programs like Software Engineering, we strongly recommend owning a laptop or desktop computer for practice, assignments, and projects.

What happens after I finish training?

We offer internship, direct employment opportunities and job placement support for all graduates. Afritech Institute is committed to helping students transition into the workforce, launch freelance careers, or start their own businesses.
