The HND in Software Engineering is where developers become engineers. Building on your Level 1 foundation, you learn to design, build and document complete software systems: analysis, architecture, frameworks, databases, testing and project management, the full professional discipline.

The specialty is completed under MINESUP with a professional internship and a project defence, and it follows on from Application Development, AI & Machine Learning or Web Development. Graduates enter the market as HND-certified software engineers or continue on the degree top-up pathway.
