One ladder. Two national diplomas.
Every year of study at Afritech Institute produces an employable graduate. Start with a National Diploma, climb to a Higher National Diploma, and keep going.
National Diploma (ND)
Official MINEFOP qualifications (DQP or CQP). Two semesters of intensive, practical training that also count as HND Semesters 1 and 2 for continuing students.
Higher National Diploma (HND)
A MINESUP Higher National Diploma in one of five specialties, completed with a professional internship and a project defence.
Degree top-up pathway
HND graduates can continue on a top-up pathway towards a degree, or launch straight into employment and enterprise.

One intake per year, every September/October. Apply online or walk in at our Rondo, Dschang campus. Scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis.

Frequently asked questions
What do I need to enroll?
Entry level depends on the program: some require the GCE O/L, others the A/L (each program page shows its own entry level). You will also need your birth certificate, national ID, result slips, four passport photos, a filled application form and the 20,000 FCFA application fee.
How much is the tuition?
Tuition is 240,000 FCFA per year, payable in 3 installments of 130,000, 70,000 and 40,000 FCFA. Technical Trades add a practical fee of 40,000 FCFA for workshop materials. Scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis.
When do classes start?
There is one intake per year, in September/October. The next start date is 5 October 2026. Classes run on weekdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and most students attend campus 3 to 4 days a week.
What certificate will I earn?
Level 1 leads to official MINEFOP qualifications (DQP or CQP, depending on the program). Level 2 leads to a MINESUP Higher National Diploma (HND). Both are nationally recognized.
Can I study if I do not live in Dschang?
Yes. Our online courses are open to anyone, anywhere in the world. Campus programs are in-person at Rondo, Dschang, with some online delivery.
