Cameroon HND Exam 2026: Registration, Dates, Results and Resits

The Cameroon HND exam 2026 was launched by MINESUP Press Release No. 25-00634 of 23 December 2025. It established the examination centres, practical and written phases, candidate categories, online-registration process and file deadlines for that session.

The dates below belong specifically to 2026. Future candidates should use this guide to understand the process, then replace every date, fee and file requirement with the notice for their own session.

Where was the HND examination written?

The launch notice named four centres: Bamenda, Buea, Douala and Yaoundé. It allowed other centres to be created if necessary and warned that candidates in some specialities could be grouped because of infrastructure requirements.

Your school location does not guarantee that every practical paper will be written there. Candidates should follow the official centre assignment and institutional briefing.

Internal candidate versus external candidate

The distinction affects eligibility and the application file.

Internal candidate	A new or previous candidate presented by an accredited institution who can prove two years of training in an approved HND cycle. The notice contains a separate preparatory-year condition for Medical and Biomedical Sciences.
External candidate	A candidate who failed one or more previous HND sessions and is not presented by an institution.

External status is not an open route for someone who has never completed approved HND training. First-time candidates should not pay an intermediary promising to bypass the institution and study requirements.

How did 2026 registration work?

The notice directed payments and registration through examensdauq.com or the CNOENC mobile application. The personal information sheet was generated using the payment receipt details and had to carry the required photograph, stamp and academic signatures.

Candidates should type names exactly as they appear on identity and birth documents. A spelling difference can create problems when results, transcripts or certificates are processed.

Documents candidates should prepare

The complete list depends on candidate category. The 2026 notice required digitized documents scanned as PDF and included items such as:

• the generated personal information sheet;
• certified identification and birth documents;
• the relevant HND transcripts;
• proof connected to the approved study cycle;
• internship evidence where required;
• previous failed transcript for repeat candidates;
• equivalence or authentication evidence when applicable;
• the official payment receipt.

Do not build a file from this summary alone. Read the current notice line by line because stamped-document age, certification, file format and category-specific requirements matter.

Level 2 pre-registration requirement

The 2026 notice stated that only candidates holding the applicable pre-registration decision and approved for admission to Level 2 could register for the session. It included a distinct rule for Medical-Health and Biomedical fields.

This is why a school should handle progression transparently. Ask for evidence that your Level 1 results and Level 2 status were processed through the required official channel.

Deadlines and late penalties

For 2026, institutions had to submit candidate applications by 13 March, with final online submission by 14 March. The notice created a late window from 16 to 28 March and specified a 10,000 FCFA penalty for late payment/registration and a separate 10,000 FCFA penalty for late online submission or re-submission in the circumstances described.

A penalty window is not a planning strategy. Submit early enough to correct rejected scans, spelling errors, missing signatures or wrong speciality codes.

Internship reports and supporting evidence

The 2026 notice required chiefs of centre to forward defence reports for internship reports and supervised projects to the National Committee by 4 May. Examination centres also had to collect and verify internship attestations and second-year HND transcripts, with the relevant list due by 22 May.

Students should therefore finish the internship, report, defence and institutional validation before the official file stages—not wait until the written examination week.

What must a repeater resit?

The 2026 notice states that repeaters resit all papers in which they obtained marks below 10/20. The failed transcript is therefore essential for identifying the correct papers and proving prior candidate status.

Do not register from memory. Compare the transcript, speciality code and current paper list with your institution or the responsible examination service.

How to prepare for practical papers

1. Use the official syllabus for your exact speciality and option.
2. Practise complete tasks under timed conditions.
3. Learn to explain procedures, safety decisions and calculations.
4. Check the tools, software or materials permitted at the centre.
5. Prepare for equipment differences instead of memorising one laboratory setup.

How to prepare for written papers

1. Map every module to the current syllabus.
2. Use past questions to diagnose gaps, not to predict exact repetition.
3. Write complete answers and review them with a qualified lecturer.
4. Revise terminology in the language of examination.
5. Plan time by marks and leave time to check candidate details.

How were the 2026 results published?

MINESUP published a national HND results page on 20 August 2026 with downloadable files arranged by speciality code. Candidates should use the exact code and confirm their identity in the official document.

A social-media screenshot may be incomplete or altered. Keep the official result source and follow the announced procedure for collecting transcripts or attestations.

Frequently asked questions

Is school admission the same as HND exam registration?

No. Admission starts the academic programme. National-exam registration is a later regulated process with its own eligibility, payments, platform and documents.

Can I register without an accredited institution?

A first-time internal candidate must be presented by an accredited institution and satisfy the approved training rule. External status is for eligible previous unsuccessful candidates.

Are 2026 dates valid for 2027?

No. MINESUP launches each session separately. Never recycle dates, fees or portals without checking the new notice.

What if my name is misspelled?

Report the error immediately through the institution and official service, with supporting identity records. Do not wait until certificate collection.
